The Glasgow branch holds lectures on the first Thursday of each month (Sept. to April) at 7.30pm in the Boyd Orr Building of the University of Glasgow.

The next lecture, which is unusually at 7.30pm on Thursday 26th April 2001, will be held in the Boyd Orr Building of the University of Glasgow.

This lecture will be given by Professor Steven Braude, Professor of Philosophy and Chairman of the Philosophy Department at the University of Maryland County, U.S.A.

He will speak on "The Gold Leaf Lady: a recent case of large scale physical phenomena."


The Edinburgh branch holds lectures on the second Monday of each month (Sept. to April) at 7.30pm at the Quaker Meeting House, 7 Victoria Terrace, Edinburgh.

The following lecture will be held at 7.30pm on Monday 14th May in the Quaker meeting House, 7 Victoria Terrace, Edinburgh.

Professor Archie Roy, Founder President of the S.S.P.R.., will speak on "A Challenge to the Sceptic: cases that require answering if the sceptic is to be taken seriously."
